Technical Sales Engineer Leeds & Sheffield June 2012

To continue to achieve their goals they now have an exciting opportunity for a technically qualified, hungry and determined Sales Engineer. This position is pivotal to their development.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this position is responsible for one of their most lucrative, client saturated territories, Sheffield and Leeds. The successful Sales Engineer will be required to source new business opportunities and develop existing client relationships maximising sales opportunities. You will take the initial enquiry created by your own sales activity or enquiries from internal sales and lease with your clients to recommend the right product solution for their requirement, you will be the main point of contact for the customer and throughout the process to ensure the customer is satisfied. Hungry, you will also strive to achieve as much new business as possible, targeting new routes to market and developing sales.

Due to the complexity of the products manufactured the successful candidate for this position will hold a mechanical engineering qualification and have some external sales experience. Alternatively you may have a background in Internal Sales/ Support /Applications Engineering and be looking to progress your career within a hugely successful highly regarded manufacturer.

The Salary: £25k- £30k +
