PhD Positions in Systems Biology at Netherlands

Modelling life: exciting PhD positions (9) in Systems Biology, Wageningen University Netherlands.Techniques Chemistry is one of the spearheads of the Wageningen UR, which spends significantly in this area. The Wageningen Center for Techniques Chemistry (WCSB) has been lately released with a focus on the Techniques Chemistry of Biobased Economic climate, Food and Health. The analysis program within the WCSB operates across with three main subthemes: The Exclusive Intestinal tract, The Exclusive Flower, and the Exclusive Microorganisms. Nine PhD acting roles are available in each of these styles. Each acting venture is equalled by at least one trial venture, with powerful relationships between model and tests imagined.

We are looking for passionate, inspired and highly certified PhD applicants with a powerful background in or appreciation to acting of scientific systems. Candidates should have powerful statistical and/ or statistical acting skills, be smooth in British (both written and spoken), practical, separate, team gamers and have the ability to interact with with professionals in connecting areas. Below you will learn more on the studies available and on the requirements of the position.

Position 1 – Development of probabilistic models for quantitative pathway and

We aim to construct an in silico pathway-network model framework of the most important hubs for local and systemic immune signals of the gut and lined immune cells. It will be tested iteratively by comparing its outcomes to in vitro results.

Requirements: MSc on Biotechnology, Nutritional Sciences, Computational Sciences, Applied Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Statistics or Bioengineering.
